International Cabernet Franc Day Celebration This Evening

Attending the inaugural Livermore Valley Cabernet Franc Guild’s tasting on December 4^th, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Bankhead Theater. A core set of Livermore Valley wineries that produce Cabernet Franc have formed the Livermore Valley Cab Franc Guild with the purpose to promote the quality of Cabernet Franc expressed by the terroir and world class winemaking of Livermore Valley. The Livermore Cab Franc Guild currently includes twelve wineries. Listed below are six which I have published stories on:

The other six wineries participating this evening are Almost Famous Wine Company, Las Positas Vineyards, McGrail Vineyards, Mitchell Katz Winery, Occasio Winery and Rodrique Molyneaux Winery. A few have participated in the Annual International Cabernet Franc Wine Competition with very solid scores and a few I have not tasted but looking forward to trying.
