Inaugural Cabernet Franc Guild of Livermore Valley Tasting For International Cabernet Franc Day

The Cabernet Franc Guild of Livermore Valley, a group of winemakers, grape growers and hospitality professionals have come together to create an identity for Livermore as a premier AVA for producing Cabernet Franc. Their motto is that Livermore Valley provides a “perfect terroir” to bring to market some of the best Cabernet Franc wines available.
On December 4th, International Cabernet Franc Day, twelve wineries banded together to pour their wines in the lobby of the Bankhead Theater. The event sold out within days of the announcement of the event with 200 attendees! Each wine was delicious and all worthy to qualify for the Guild’s criteria to be accepted.
