2018 Gossamer Cellars Treixadura – A Heavy Weight White Wine!! A Great Fish Pairing Wine

Treixadura (Trajadura) is dominant grape varietial found in Portugal’s Northwest region. Treixadura often a blending wine, it adds body and alcohol, as well as crisp, citrus (lemon) characteristics with some stonefruit, peach and apple traits. Gary Grant, winemaker at Gossamer cellars, decided to make a this a stand alone wine on its own. This is a white wine for red wine drinkers. Thanks Gary for this wonderful adventure.Paired with Petrale sole prepared with butter, olive oil, Hymalian salt, black pepper, garlic salt, sliced olives, sliced Kalamata olives, parsley, basil, lemon juice and capers.
