2018 Harken Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
Last night had a 2018 Harken Chardonnay. This is now a wine handy for neighborhood gatherings. This is a Rombauer “cousin” in taste profile. If you want crème brulée and mid-buttery Chardonnay, look no further. Oak and pear also are present on the nose and palate along with a hint of citrus. Paired with chicken picata, Yukon gold mashed potatoes and medley of sautéed vegetables with Roma tomatoes.
